The importance of back links

These days in the search engine optimization world, back links have been and still are the most important factor that search engines look at in order to determine the rankings (SERPS) of a particular website. Google looks at each link pointing to your website as a vote, and the more "votes" / Links that a website has they will likely rank much higher than their competitor sites that do not have as many links. A really neat way to find out your back links is if you go to www.yahoo.com and type in link:www.yourdomain.com

This will yield a certain number of back links to your website, if you would like to see how people are linking to you, you can check out another neat tool called www.backlinkwatch.com This tool not only shows you your links but it also shows you your "anchor text" which is the keywords used to link to your website. These keywords being the keywords a website wants to rank high for on Google.

Another factor to keep in mind regarding links is the no follow do follow function surrounding the link. If a link is no follow the search engines will not give you credit for this link / vote to your website. if you would like to find out which links are no follow or do follow you can check out another awesome tool called no follow do follow which is a browser add on for Firefox.

By using all of these strategies above, one can deeply analyze the number of back links to their website, who is linking to them and of course if they are being credited for the links pointing to their website. If you want to rank your website high in the search engines, then it is very important to focus at least 60% of your time into building healthy do follow links pointing back to your website from other websites.

"Google analytical report” all webmasters and seo companies are not aware from this word, Yes it’s a Google tool which helps you to study your site traffic and many more things but I think only seo companies, software companies and webmaster use this tool. In this blog I am going to explain about Google Analytical report so that after reading this blog website owner judge their traffic and also they are capable to tell their seo consultant if they do any mistakes.

Dashboard: Dashboard is a collection of report summaries it includes Visitors, Traffic, Goals, E-commerce, Visits, Page views, Pages/Visit, Bounce rate, Avg. Time on Site, Pages/Visit, Map overlay, Content Overview, Traffic Source Overview,Visitor Overview.

Visitors: visitor’s means people came to your site. From here you find the number of visits. Visits also divided into three types Absolute visits, Unique visits and new visits I will explain later on these topics. This section also gives you information about Pages views, Average views, Time on site, Bounce rate.

Here I am going to explain some erroneous tactics of link building. You all guys know very well "what the link building is? and why it is important.

Apart from this if page is coupled to website so its confirm that the page will be cached in 15 to 30 days but the links coming from this page is not the quality links because the page have only links and links and links……….

Quality matters not Quantity

The link page having Rich content having good keywords and having page rank are consider as a quality links but most of the time its not possible that these all features are in link page. And also its time consuming and hard procedure to search these type of page, But these types of links have its own importance. And these type of links gives you a good page rank and serps.

In below image I used three keywords 1st is website design 2nd is web design company in NY and 3rd is website design company in NY city. First let me explain what the possibilities of three keywords in SERP





1.web design- This type of keywords can’t give you fast result because in this keyword you are talking to user globally.

This type of keyword can’t spacify any city or state so the users for this keywords are coming form world not only from any city or any state but the d'rawback behind the global keyword is you can’t achieve serps easily.

2.web design company in NY : in this keyword you specify that accompany belongs to NY state so here you not targeted user globally. This type of keywords works faster then the global keyword and you get SERP easily for this type of keywords but here let me explain one thing “there is a 90% chances that user coming from this keyword are belongs to NY state not from any other country or state”

3.web design company in NY city : This type of keywords gives you fastest result other than above two because in this you specify that web design company belongs to NY city. Big drawback of this keyword is less number of visitors.
